Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between CoreVezel Tech (“we”, “us”), who provide PodiBot, and the shop that uses it (“you”). By accepting an invitation and signing in, you agree to them. PodiBot is in early access, so some parts are still being built.
1. The service
PodiBot connects to your WhatsApp Business number, replies to your customers using the facts you give it, reads payment slips, and gives you and your team a shared inbox. Accounts are created by invitation only.
2. Your account
- Keep your sign-in details and authenticator safe. You are responsible for what happens under your team's accounts, and for the roles you give people.
- Tell us quickly if you think an account has been misused.
3. What you are responsible for
- Your WhatsApp number and Meta account. You must follow WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies and Meta's terms. Meta may charge for some business messages on its own rate card.
- Your customers' data. You decide why you collect and keep it, you must have a lawful reason to message them, and you must answer their requests (including deletion). PodiBot gives you tools for this, and we will help with the paperwork, but the responsibility stays with you.
- Your business information. The bot answers only from what you write. Keep it accurate and up to date: prices, delivery times and opening hours are your promises.
- Payments. PodiBot never holds your money; customers pay your own bank account. Slip details are read automatically and can be wrong, so you approve each payment yourself unless you have connected a bank or gateway that confirms it.
4. What you must not do
- Send spam, scams or unlawful, abusive or misleading messages, or message people who have not contacted you or agreed to hear from you.
- Use PodiBot to sell things that are illegal, or to collect data you have no right to collect.
- Try to break, overload or get around the service, or access another shop's data.
We may suspend an account straight away if it puts the service, other shops or their customers at risk, and will tell you why where we can.
5. AI replies
Replies are produced with the help of AI. The bot is built to answer only from your facts and to pass the chat to you when unsure, but AI can still make mistakes. You can switch it off for one customer or for everyone, and you should check your chats and slips regularly.
6. Early access, availability and changes
We work to keep PodiBot running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change, move or be removed as we learn from early shops. We will give notice of changes that matter to you.
7. Fees
Pricing is not published yet. Any charges will be agreed with you in writing before they apply. Fees charged by Meta, your bank or other providers are separate from ours.
8. Your data and ending the agreement
Your shop information and your customers' chats remain yours. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. You can stop using PodiBot at any time and ask us to delete your shop's data, except records we must keep by law. We may end the service for a shop that breaks these terms, or end early access with reasonable notice.
9. Ownership
PodiBot, its software, design and name belong to CoreVezel Tech. You get the right to use it for your shop while your account is active. We do not claim ownership of your content.
10. Limits of our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from things outside our control (for example, outages at WhatsApp/Meta, your bank, or your internet provider), from AI mistakes you could have caught by checking, or from indirect or lost profits. Our total responsibility to you for anything connected with PodiBot is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the problem. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka can hear disputes. Questions about these terms: hello@podibot.lk.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell shop owners about significant changes before they apply.
